My name’s Abdul-Salam Abdul-Hameed. The latter (Abdul-Hameed) is surname, or rather my father’s name. I’m Ghanaian born, seeker of knowledge, without homeland. I read.. I explore.. I observe.. I think.. I process.. I write.. I blog.. I educate.. and I care.. I help when I can.

I started my first blog (gsalam.wordpress.com) in 2009, and subsequently moved it to a self-hosted GSalam.Net. My first purpose of blogging started when I realized I needed to share my thoughts with the world. I also wanted to learn and possibly teach practical Islam in a simple but authentic way to my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters.
